Emmanuel O. Adesuyi was the founding Chief Operations Officer of the Institute of Nursing Research, Nigeria, before becoming its present Chief Executive Officer.

He is a distinguished nurse leader, researcher, and educator passionate about advancing nursing scholarship and practice. As the Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of Nursing Research, Nigeria, he is at the forefront of transforming nursing research, capacity building, and healthcare innovation across Africa and the globe.

Emmanuel Adesuyi

With a background in nursing, epidemiology, and infection control, Emmanuel has had an illustrious career spanning clinical practice, academia, and leadership. He has championed major research initiatives, notably leading the WHO-ICN funded curriculum review project for nursing and midwifery training across Africa, a landmark regional project for the Global Nurse Leadership Institute (GNLI) of the International Council of Nurses (ICN) to influence healthcare policy and education in the region.

His role as Chairman of the Scientific Committee for the 2023 INR Hybrid Scientific Research Conference underscored his expertise in curating high-impact research platforms. An active researcher with over 20 published works, Emmanuel has secured multiple research grants, including a Sigma Theta Nursing Society grant for studying HIV/AIDS in Nigeria. His findings have been presented at international conferences and published in a reputable international journal, solidifying his reputation as a thought leader in nursing education, digital health, and public health.

Currently completing his PhD in Nursing at Birmingham City University, Emmanuel remains committed to shaping the future of healthcare through strategic leadership, research, technology and education. His unwavering dedication to evidence-based practice and mentorship continues to inspire the next generation of nursing professionals.
