Who we are
Institute of Nursing Research, Nigeria (INRN) is a non-governmental professional organization birthed by the Fellowship of Christian Nurses (FCN) South West Zone, Nigeria.
FCN Nigeria is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission with Registration Number 11081.
This institute was borne out of the need to impact families and communities through credible clinical and community-based research while building the capacity of nurses in research and other scholarly endeavors. The Institute of Nursing Research, Nigeria, was launched on May 14th, 2016 at the Fellowship of Christian Nurses, South West Zone conference held at Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria. INR is among the top nursing research communities in Nigeria and West Africa, impacting the academic lives of professional nurses of all cadres.
With our research journal club, innovative programmes and educational publications, we have built Nigeria’s biggest nursing academic community, which young nurses impressively handle.
We have top scholars from all over the globe as part of our growing community of nurse scholars, researchers, academics and leaders.
“INRN is committed to mentoring nurses along their research trajectories by providing nurses with the skills and resources needed for conducting research from the conceptual phase to the dissemination of findings in the
