About IJC
In a bid to build the research competencies of nurses and nursing students, the institute collaborated with Nigerian Universities Nursing Students Association (NUNSA) and National Association of Nigerian Students Nurses and Midwives (NANSNM) to establish INR Journal Club which is a platform for research collaboration and mentorship for early nurse – researchers. IJC was established
in November 2020.
Aims Of IJC
- To improve the knowledge of research methodology & biostastistics
- To develop abilities to critically analyze research manuscripts.
- To help learn and improve critical appraisal skills
- To link nurses with resources that will aid their research endeavours
- Promote awareness on research skills and how to publish the research articles
- To provide mentorship for nurses along their research trajectories
