At the Institute of Nursing Research Nigeria, it is with great joy that we celebrate our dear CEO, Dr Akingbade Oluwadamilare, as he bags a PhD from the Nethersole School of Nursing, Chinese University, Hong Kong.
Dr Akingbade Oluwadamilare was recently honoured with two awards — Scholastic Excellence and Commitment In Chronic Illness Care and Outstanding Academic Performance in the preceding year of study by the Nethersole School of Nursing, Chinese University, Hong Kong.
A few weeks ago, he was also certified by The International Council of Nurses and CGFNS as a Global Nurse Consultant.
The Institute of Nursing Research, Nigeria, has become one of the largest nursing academic communities under his leadership, and its impact is felt not only in Nigeria but also across Africa and the world.
An inspiration, a mentor to many and a leader par excellence, Dr Akingbade is a dynamic community health specialist, passionate about impacting families and communities through research.
He is also committed to the growth of nurses, helping them build capacity through scholarly endeavours.
With his laudable achievements and feats, he has shown over and over again that nurses can do more.
We are proud of him, and once more, we say congratulations, Sir!
